Check FFXIV market board prices in Discord
Compare FFXIV market board prices across worlds in Discord, check recent sales and track favourite items with Universalis data.
How do I find the cheapest world?
/xiv market summary compares an item across your data centre: each world’s average sale price, its lowest listing, the cheapest and most expensive NQ and HQ listings, and which worlds have the most sales and stock. It uses your saved character’s data centre unless you choose another.
For example, before buying a crafted weapon, select it with /xiv market summary and compare the lowest prices for the quality you need. Then use /xiv market prices on the world you are considering to check individual listings and quantities. Check the data’s upload time before travelling: a cheap listing may already have sold.
What is the difference between listings and sales?
/xiv market prices lists every listing on one world, cheapest first, with quantity, quality and retainer. /xiv market sales shows recent sales, newest first: what each sold for and when. Sales tell you what people actually pay, rather than what sellers are asking. Both use your saved character’s world unless you choose another.
Track items with a watchlist
Add up to five items you buy or sell often with /xiv market add, and check them all at once with /xiv market watch. For each item, it shows every world’s cheapest listing against the average price, so you can spot a bargain or an undercut at a glance. Take items off with /xiv market remove.
Why are prices different in game?
Prices come from Universalis, which collects market board data uploaded by players. Each reply says when the item’s data was last uploaded: if that was a while ago, prices may have moved.
With a saved character, other lookups such as recipes, gathering nodes and item searches also show the best deal on your data centre.
