Scheduled messages
Post a message on selected days, once per day or at a repeating interval.
Set this up for your server in the dashboard. Open the dashboard
Set up a timer
- Open Scheduled messages from your server dashboard. Select the destination channel and write the message.
- Choose a time zone, weekdays and start and end times. Use the ten-minute schedule supported by the form.
- Choose Post once per selected day, or set a repeat interval in multiples of ten minutes. The bot checks timers every ten minutes, not continuously.
- Decide whether to delete the previous timer message, then enable and save the timer. Check the destination at the next eligible scheduled time.
If a message does not arrive
Check that the timer is enabled, the current day is selected and the time is inside its configured window in the selected time zone. Also check Aymeric’s access to the destination channel.
Saving a timer does not send a test message or replay missed messages. To stop future posts without losing the setup, disable the timer and save.
Common questions
Why hasn’t my scheduled message posted?
Aymeric checks scheduled messages every ten minutes. Check the enabled switch, the selected weekdays and the time window in your time zone, then Aymeric’s access to the channel. Saving doesn’t send a test message or replay a missed post.
